York Stadium were experiencing ongoing issues with their cellar cooling system, with the existing condensing units repeatedly failing due to being installed in the wrong environment. Reliable cellar cooling is essential for maintaining correct product temperatures, particularly on busy match days where performance and consistency matter. The requirement was a more dependable refrigeration setup that would reduce breakdowns and keep the cellar operating as it should.
What We Did
Pure Facilities supplied and installed two new cellar cooling refrigeration systems and relocated the condensing units externally onto the flat roof to provide the correct operating conditions and improve reliability. Once installed, the system was commissioned and tested to ensure stable cellar temperatures and consistent performance. The end result is dependable cellar cooling that helps keep drinks properly chilled for match day service.
